The Solid bench by valerie objects combines its name and appearance in a captivating fusion of form and function. At first sight, the bench, balancing on its four slender legs, may appear airy and weightless, defying its very name. But this is just an optical illusion because the name is indeed an omen: made of walnut, the Solid chair is sturdy enough to carry the persons sitting on it and doubles as a long side table, too. The Solid bench is designed by the Berlin-based design studio Atelier 365.
