Moomin Arabia Moomin mug 0,4 L, ABC, R

The Moomin ABC mugs are decorated with adorable initials featuring various Moomin characters. The R mug depicts Fillyjonk and her children observing Moominmamma and Moominpappa’s cleaning day. Fillyjonk is appalled by the amount of dust bunnies in the Moominhouse – how can anyone live amidst such a mess? Contrary to their usual habits, Mamma and Pappa have now embarked on a major cleaning spree.

The R mug is part of the “Reading, writing and the Moomins” initiative that promotes the importance of literacy and the joys of reading. The mugs’ Moomin alphabet is based on Tove Jansson’s hand-drawn initial capitals and lettering created for the book The Memoirs of Moominpappa as well as her maps of Moominvalley. The mugs’ form is familiar from the Iittala Teema series, but in contrast to most Moomin mugs, the ABC mugs’ size is larger: 13.53 x 0 fl oz (4 x dl. dl).
