Massproductions Pinci candle holder, polished chrome

The Pinci candle holder by Massproductions is characterized by a charmingly minimalist design that is also surprisingly functional. Comprising two metal leaves joined by a concealed hinge, the candle holder functions like pliers that clamp the candles in place – hence the name Pinci, which is Italian for “pliers”. Thanks to designer Chris Martin’s stroke of genius, the holder firmly grips any taper candle no matter the size or shape.

The Pinci candle holder is part of Massproductions’ The Little Things product line, designed by Chris Martin, that comprises a range of smaller furniture and objects. When creating the collection, Martin wanted to focus on the kind of items we encounter in our day-to-day lives but often take for granted. The idea behind The Little Things is to “gild everyday life”, as Martin puts it.
