Made by Hand’s Papier Single pendant lamp is a modern interpretation of the classic rice paper lamp. The ceiling light is the brainchild of designer Nina Bruun, who was inspired by the very material she uses. “I like the quality of the light that passes through the tactile material,” the designer herself describes the luminaire – and indeed, the light reflects almost poetically through the thin rice paper surface of the Papier Single. The atmospheric luminaire serves as a perfect decorative piece on its own, while also creating a striking ensemble when clustered together on the ceiling of the living room, restaurant hall, or hotel lobby.
