Iittala Teema dish 16 x 16 cm, vintage blue

The square Teema platter, part of Iittala’s iconic eponymous tableware collection, can be used for serving various dishes or treats or even for preparing food as it is oven-proof. The platter’s blue, vintage-inspired hue mimics the collection’s original color palette from 1952, and to further honor the original series, then called Kilta, Iittala has also given the platter a semi-opaque glaze that varies slightly depending on the item’s shape. Each vintage blue platter is therefore unique.

Designed by Kaj Franck in 1952, the Teema collection is based on familiar and basic shapes – a circle, a square and a rectangle. Teema is one of the most highly appreciated Scandinavian collections and an undisputed classic that can be found in many design museums worldwide. The Teema tableware collection is available in a variety of colors and can easily be combined with other Iittala tableware.
