Iittala Grape, rain

Iittala’s Grape glass sculpture belongs to Oiva Toikka’s colorful and imaginative Fruits and Vegetables art glass series. The collection of playful produce was originally designed in 1989 and, to the delight of all Toikka fans, brought back by Iittala in the 2020s.

Made of rain-blue glass with a reflective, lustrous stem, Grape is a prime example of Oiva Toikka’s bold, cheeky and experimental approach to design. Each whimsical fruit is made of mouth-blown glass at the Iittala glass factory in Finland, making them all one-of-a-kind art pieces that not only demonstrate the infinite imagination of Oiva Toikka, but also the stupendous skills of Iittala’s glassblowers.

The beautiful colors and organic shape of Grape make it a distinctive and intriguing detail in the interior, either as a stand-alone art object or grouped with other glass fruits and veggies to form your very own garden of glass art.
