Iittala Birds by Toikka Curlew, sand

Iittala’s Curlew is an elegant decorative bird with a wavy pattern in matte glass. The wading bird joined Iittala’s glass bird family in 1999 in a maroon color, but the subdued sand-colored plumage was introduced in 2023. The first glass birds of the Birds by Toikka collection were designed in 1972 by Professor Oiva Toikka, renowned for his unique contribution to Finnish art glass over the past half-century.
