Bitossi Alzata centrepiece, 25 cm, burgundy – green – oxidized copper

Bitossi’s Alzata centerpiece represents Italian designer and architect Ettore Sottsass at his purest: the experimental modern design of this bowl is characteristically adorned with a vibrant red surface. The inside of the bowl is left green – a contrasting hue, also typical of Sottsass’s style!

The Alzata centerpiece is perfect for serving fruits, treats, and other small snacks at dinner parties, but its versatility also allows the bowl to shine as a striking decorative piece outside the kitchen, whether empty or filled with everyday treasures. Originally designed in 1962, the bowl is made of ceramic with an enameled interior.
